Street Style India-Sunglasses

There is something undeniably unique about sunglasses. Statement sunglasses are the new street style favorite among New Delhi fashionistas. This season seems to be all about going bold & trying out unconventional combinations. Strong , eccentric & assertive are the words which completely defines these stylish folks I captured at Amazon India Fashion Week 16. So here is small photo essay on people with their sunglasses fetish at the fashion week.

Street Style – Hair

I will start this blog post with the famous quote by legendary actress Joan Crawford “I think that the most important thing a woman can have-next to talent , of course is her hairdresser.”

Well which clearly tells how important hairstyles are, right hairstyle can add much needed panache to a simple outfit. There is another famous quote which tells the importance of a hairstyle is by American actor Christopher Walken who once said “my hair was famous before I was.”

In India Bollywood remains the strongest fashion inspiration for common people on the streets. However at this year’s Jaipur Literature Festival saw people in some of the most intriguing hairstyles. Talk about color, texture, length & volume people at ZEE JLF had it all.

So here is a photo essay I shot at this year’s Jaipur Literature Festival. The most interesting part is these people are not fashion celebrities , they are common people, tourists, delegates who have traveled to the city of Jaipur exclusively to attend the literature festival. I was so impressed to see lot of people experimenting with their hairstyles. So are you looking out for some hair inspiration?
