Zee Jaipur Literature Festival the annual literary festival happens every year in the heart of pink city Jaipur, Rajasthan. As the festival is just 3 days away so I thought this would be the right time to publish the portrait series which I shot last year in 2016. This year is going to be special as it also marks the 10th anniversary of the festival. There is something mesmerizing about the festival which drags me to Jaipur every year ever since I first volunteered in 2012. The people, the culture & the music everything is so perfect. Whether it’s the diggipuri chai, the venue diggi palace, clueless crowd or the beautiful voice of anchor Catriona Mitchell, I love everything about the festival.
Last year I thought to do black & white series of portraits capturing the important faces of festival in 2016 starting from the festival director William Dalrympal to controversial indian columnist Shobha De. I felt very lucky to capture these intriguing faces very closely. Every portrait is very special for me & I am very proud to share this photo series with all of you.

Pink city’s fashion enthusiasts came together to celebrate last day of Rajasthan Style Fest. The fashion extravaganza saw endless talent display from Paris Fashion Week designer Felix Bendish to Lakme Fashion Week’s Chirag Nainani, from city’s top models to celebrity showstoppers, the show had it all. What also caught my attention was the unique styling especially the braided hairdos on models looked very verve. The show director & stylist Abhimanyu Singh Tomar successfully bought fashion & style factor together in the Jaipur city to celebrate the last day of Rajasthan style fest. While designer Felix Bendish had everyone captivated with his exaggerated & eccentric accessories, city’s very own designer Gazal Mishra went all patriotic with her line on handloom fabrics, saw models dressed in tricolor (which is a rare sight to see in a fashion event).
I placed my myself backstage(like always) to have a closer look at designer’s creation & also I have a thing for backstage photography which not only allows me to get candid with the models but also to explore a whole new different area of photography. Somehow I also managed to capture some action from the runway too.

Ruffled sleeves, chic dresses & pastel colors, yes I am talking about Dolly J’s latest autumn/winter collection at Amazon India Fashion Week. The designer is known for feminine silhouettes with using pretty pastels as her color palette. This time what was surprising was the hint of androgyny in few of the pieces. Love the clean shapes with beautiful butterflies motifs on the hemlines of long dresses. In between the soft pinks & subtle red , black came as a refreshing yet bold surprise in Dolly J’s collection.
