Backstage-The Hottest Male Model Portraits

Since Rajasthan Heritage Week 2016 was full of crafts & celebrating the handmade in Rajasthan, the day 2 of the fashion week seems to be entirely dedicated to the handcrafted indian saree. The fashion week overall was high on womenswear but what grabbed the attention of the female attendees majorly were the handsome indian male models donning the 6 yards of grace (saree) with lot of panache & confidence. It was interesting to see how handcrafted sarees by the national awarded weavers were draped on male models, taking inspiration from ancient indian saree drapes.Talk about sarees as stole or sarees with denims, it included all the major possible experiments with 6 yards of fabric but on a male model body this time . So here is a small black & white photo essay celebrating the beauty of indian men in saree, which is very rare & completely deserves the attention.

Well once Vidya Balan said “Saree is the only garment which covers the right amount & shows the right amount” . Does that applies on men too?

Backstage-Ken Ferns

Ken Ferns runway show was definitely a party but what you might not be aware of is the backstage was equally a party in-fact a beachwear Hawaiian party to be precise. Ken Fern showcased his latest spring/summer collection at Jaipur for the first season of IISW (India International Style Week). Models were seen donning colorful floral headpieces, Geek glasses & were covered from head to toe in funky prints. Male models went a step ahead and were seen flaunting bare chested oiled bodies with summer tan & were wearing just printed beachwear shorts.

It seems like the print game is on in India with new designers & labels like Siddhartha Bansal, Quirk box & now Ken Ferns the quirky print trend has finally arrived to add lot of fun to your style. So through this photo essay I am taking you to the other side of runway i.e. backstage & giving you a closer look at Ken Ferns latest summer collection.

Show was not just about the typical catwalk, models were swirling & twirling on the runway. Models were also seen blowing whistles for the final run-through at the end.
